Mark Braithwaite, Artist - Born in York in 1970 with a pencil in his fist - Mark left University and became a pavement artist, painting outside York Minster before progressing to painting cityscapes of his beautiful home town, which were subsequently produced as prints.

Deciding it was too cold too paint outside all the time, he opened his first gallery in York in 2000, expanding to larger premises 2 years later. Mark is available for commissioned artworks both cityscape and portraits
